Chapter 112. Soul Purity Test

“I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!” Agatha's ominous words were a firm promise.

It took an eternity to find her; the crack was getting smaller, indicating that soon the beast could completely take over my mind and control. It was imperative to locate the hybrid.

I regained control, widening my eyes as I witnessed what the beast had done. Once again, more innocents were killed. He had found refugees from the crescent moon and shattered their lives.

“DID YOU LIKE THE SURPRISE I LEFT FOR YOU?” He snarled, sarcastic in my mind. I took a few steps back, seeing the bodies pinned to the wall with the message, “LUNA IS NEXT!”

“You will succumb before that happens, even if we both die!” I clenched my fists in a promise, making the beast laugh.

I returned to my pack, completely bloodied.

“My lord, are you okay?” The Beta looked at me, worried.

“This blood is not mine!” I shrugged, walking past him. He stood still, looking around and sniffing.
