Chapter 151. Repelling the Shadows

Sobs echoed in the dark surroundings, while chills ran through us like a breath of wind enveloping us. Until, amid the silence, a sharp sound caught our attention.

“Please, please, I can't take it anymore.” Sophie's voice was choked, laden with suffering.

“This way!” I growled irritably.

We advanced toward a place immersed in shades of black and gray, where light was scarce, revealing scattered puddles on the floor. In the background, a throne rose, occupied by a malevolent presence that observed the hybrid chained to the ground, the chains emerging from the dark waters.

“Cursed ones, RELEASE HER!” I roared thunderously, attracting the attention of the shadows surrounding her. The mysterious figure on the throne tilted its head to the side.

“Well, well, we have visitors!” he said enigmatically. “Not just visitors, we have before us the illustrious Alpha, the cursed Lycan king. What a delight and honor to meet you in person!”
