“What’s your name?” I questioned the broad back of the man in front of me. He didn’t even glance back he kept walking, confident that I would follow him where ever he would lead me.

Not like I had a choice.

We went through a dizzying array of halls and long rooms until he got to a wide-open gate at the back of a wall. It led back outside but it had to be on the other side from where I came in. It was massive.?

There were colored poles twisted into various shapes all over the field, giant tires hanging by tiny hoops, what looked like a rope maze hanging in the air, and deep trenches filled with what looked like mud. Was this some kind of obstacle course??

“Shepard, Sir!” saluted a young man as he came bounding up to us. There were a dozen other figures dotted across the field and as soon as they saw this one fall in line they hurried to do so.
