Chapter 7. Not Yet

"You're what?"

I am so confounded at the present time. I know Deniece's family story, however this one isn't comfortable to me by any stretch of the imagination.

"He's presently my stepbrother," Deniece strolled towards Kendric. She snatched him by his shoulder and pulled his face near hers.

"See the similarity?"

I took a gander at them, and I can see that they have similar arrangement of eyes. Yet, I didn't see it, despite the fact that I must investigate Kendric's eyes each time I'm with him.

"I'm actually confounded," I said as I shut my eyes for some time and moaned.

"How about we go inside first," Deniece said as she opened my condo.

How I'm excessively consumed with my concerns of late, I neglected to ask my closest companion how she is. I didn't actually know that there's this Kendric in her life as well!
