Chapter 9. Feelings and Identity
Kendric carried me to the closest café from the college. I'm actually wet, yet he let me put on his jacket while we were in the vehicle sometime prior. I was unable to take a gander at him straight due to the embarrassment and shame I felt. He shouldn't have viewed me as such; it just caused me to feel considerably more powerless and delicate around him.
"Here is your beverage," he put a hot cocoa on my table.
I quickly tasted some from it just to warm my stomach since I recollected that I hadn't eaten anything since morning.
He appeared to be occupied due to the PC before him and a few organizers that he was perusing. There's one more side of him that I got to observe. We're getting excessively close, and it's not even really great for me to make connections like this.
"So," I checked out at him when he talked. "For what reason would you say you are strolling like that in the downpour?"
