Apollo POV

I walk out of my bedroom, ready to see my mate. I missed her last night and was tempted to go to her. I didn’t want to interrupt her time with Atlas, so I refrained, much to Luka’s dismay.

I walk out to find my brother sitting at the table with coffee and his tablet in front of him. I look around the room, but it looks like we’re alone. “Where’s Akia?”

“She just left a few minutes ago. Ares was waiting for her.” Of course he was. I saw him earlier, saw him lurking in this room. I didn’t miss the look on his face when he saw Atlas with Akia. I’m starting to put all the pieces together to get the full picture. I have a feeling that I won’t like what I end up with after I look into everything.
