Apollo POV

The car ride to the hotel is quiet, but not in a bad way. Akia looks good; there’s a glow that makes her look even more beautiful than she usually looks. I know that Atlas is the cause of that glow, and I can only hope that I can add to that.

It doesn’t take us long to get to the hotel, and I hate that our ride is over. I’ve had a tight grip on her hand since we got in the car. I park the car and hurry to her side to let her out. “Do you need your bag, love?”

“I should bring it just in case.” I nod and place it on my shoulder, moving away when she tries to grab it from me. “I can carry that, you know.” I nod as I secure her hand in mine and lead her into the hotel.

“I’m sure you can, but it isn’t necessary. I’m here for all those little things and more.” I glance at her, enjoying the effect I have on her
