“What did they escape?”

My heart raced and my mind couldn’t process what I heard. I almost fell just to get to Theron’s room. The staff seemed to part when they saw me.

The only thing I found was the rope that was still used to tie him and the document on the bed. I immediately picked it up.

My gaze remained there.

He signed the documents.

I fell on the bed, I closed my eyes tightly while the midwife of my senses.
