Before I could start venting to Aiden, I decided to find the butler who was supposed to pick me up and told him to wait a moment because Aiden and I needed to talk. I also told him that if we weren’t done by 6:30 PM, he should return to the palace and inform the king and queen that I might not make it to dinner. Of course, I didn’t want Princess Kara to appear disrespectful.

So, I began telling Aiden all my frustrations since yesterday. While narrating to him, I avoided using Gen Z and millennial terms because I was too tired to explain, and I didn’t want to laugh at his reactions, which wasn’t possible since we had to be quiet here. We were still inside the bookstore, and to avoid getting him in trouble, I helped him stack and organize the books on the shelves while I ranted to him.
