Chapter 151. No Energy

After Aiden retrieved the newly delivered books he claimed he had forgotten, he returned to the shelf where we were stacking, at the far end of the bookstore. I noticed that his energy had changed somewhat after that. Perhaps he didn’t want to talk about what had happened, so I didn’t ask him about it.
He didn’t say much, and I wondered if he deliberately chose to stack books on another shelf to avoid me so I wouldn’t chat with him. When I finished stacking the remaining books from the box beside me, I approached the butler who had come to fetch me. I didn’t get to say goodbye to Aiden since he was talking to his co-employee when I finished.
Since it was not yet 6:30 PM, it looked like I could still join my royal family for dinner. With that thought, I sighed.
