After Asher’s shift ended exactly at 5 PM, he immediately called our group chat with Paige and Sarah. Without hesitation, he broke the bad news—well, bad for him—that Tate and Gracie were now officially together.

And so, as expected, Asher, now the heartbroken one, suggested we all go out for drinks. Of course, we didn’t want to disappoint him, so even though it was a Sunday, we said yes.
