“Why is this happening… it’s not our fault that the mobile application glitched. What about us? Where will we stay for five days and four nights?” I sighed and scratched my head again.

The receptionist kept apologizing, so I asked what help they could offer us. She said there was nothing they could do and that they didn’t know how to resolve the issue. There wouldn’t be any available rooms until tomorrow, and they insisted it wasn’t their system’s fault.

“Miss, can you suggest another hotel nearby?” Asher asked calmly.

After Asher asked that, Paige pulled me aside and gently said, “Lee, don’t get too worked up.”

“The receptionist’s responses are really annoying!” Sarah said irritably to Paige, rolling her eyes. True! It was frustrating; she seemed more stressed than us, and we were the ones without a place to stay for five days and four nights! What were we going to do now?
