Chapter 59. Underground River Adventure

“Team ZacLee isn’t here…” Fitz said immediately after exiting the hotel room where we had locked Zac and Lee in the cabinet.

A guest had checked out early from a hotel room here at The Cabin, so another hotel room was available that morning. We decided to sleep there so that when Lee and Zac woke up, they would wonder why we were gone and panic a bit since no one would be around to help them escape from being locked in the cabinet.

“Huh? Where did those two go?” Paige asked, her forehead creasing in confusion.

“No one in the cabinet?” I asked, and Fitz nodded in response.

“Looks like those two eloped…” Migs joked, making Sarah laugh, who then added, “Enemies to lovers, apparently, is the trope for ZacLee…”

And we all laughed at what Sarah said.

“Anyway…” I clapped my hands to get their attention. “I’ll just text Lee, and maybe Migs or Fitz, you guys can text Zac. Let’s tell them where we are so they can follow us.”
