"I'm off, cancel any appointments for now"

"You're going on the blind date?" Faye asked and Andrea shook her head.

"I'm going to make the payments myself" she waved her phone at Faye.

"But I already sent Melissa to do that" Faye said innocently.

Andrea looked past Faye at Melissa who was busy just staring and wondering if Andrea had heard what she said, she knew how Andrea held her family dear to her heart.

"You don't have to stress Melissa with all that" Melissa's heart skipped a beat "she'll be too busy looking for another job" Andrea said as walked to the elevator.

"Ma'am," Melissa muttered, she did not know whether to plead or to accept that she has just been fired

"The one you spoke of, Mel…." She stayed quiet.

What was supposed to be added was whispered quietly in her heart, the secret she kept from the world and the said person.

"She's worthy enough to get you fired" the elevator dinged and the doors opened, Andrea quietly
