Chapter 30

Andrea cocked an eyebrow at Bree's sudden show of possessiveness.

"I was with my fiance" Andrea told the truth and sipped from the wine, but Bree thought she lied and she sipped from the wine immediately because her throat was scorched from all the lying.

"That's funny" Bree said and Andrea chuckled.

They both stayed quiet for a while just looking at each other, it was a rather awkward silence.

"I don't like the way things are between us" Bree broke the silence. "It's weird, awkward, I don't want the air to be this thick"

Andrea smiled "you're the only one feeling this way, the air between us has never been lighter"
