Chapter 27

The precinct as expected was noisy and a little crowded, there were police officers in their uniform doing one thing or another, it was lively but to Bree it did not seem to be alive. The hue of the place gave it a kind of boring vibe, it was exactly like she expected it to be, there wasn't joy in her heart, just a sudden determination.

She was here now, she would protect Andrea.

An officer of about a hundred and seventy eight centimeters in height walked to her, the man was a southerner and bald, his uniform appeared to be only a little bit bigger than he was, he still looked good. His wife would still find him sexy.

The officer saluted and Bree returned it.

"You must be the new detective" he said

"Yes, detective Bree Vaughn," Bree replied.

"Is she with you?" The officer asked on seeing Becca standing beside Bree, gawking at the place.

"Yea" Bree answered, she had totally forgotten that Becca was standing beside her.

The officer nodde
