So, the other detectives all agreed to help Sophia bring Bree back and in a few hours, they all left for the Extraction op. For the secret people she was employing into the op, Sophia instructed them all to change into some black uniforms and masks, to hide their appearance. She said all sort of rubbish like:

"The authorities don't want us to continue this investigation, we're not going in as police officers, we're going as vigilantes and vigilantes obviously has their faces hidden"

So the detectives along with Andrea and Avery all hid behind masks. They wore uniforms like that of the SWAT teams and held their guns. Some armed themselves with Glocks and the others, AK-47s.
