Chapter 22

Third Person’s POV

John strongly believes that Ace goes out of his way to irritate him, and this feeling only escalates with each teasing remark from Ace. As they all proceed to the karaoke room together, John remains at the back, simply following his friends wherever they go. However, prior to entering the room, Mark approaches Ace, hinting that they have something planned.

Suddenly, Ray grabs John’s attention and addresses him as "Johnny." Irritated, John scolds Ray, requesting him to stop using that nickname. Ray advises John to go with the flow, leaving him puzzled about what his friend meant.

Drake encourages Yana to take the lead, playfully saying, "Come Yana. Lady’s first," handing her the microphone. Yana declines, insisting that she doesn’t sing. But Drake persists, refusing to take back the microphone.

Lucas sets up a song code, mentioning, "No joy killers." John watches closely and lets out a deep sigh.
