After their class ended, John roamed around the campus in search of Jennie. He wanted to have a conversation with her to put an end to the senseless conflict that had been hanging over them. Eventually, he spotted her strolling by herself down the hallway, prompting him to sprint towards her, desperate to catch up.

As he reached Jennie, out of breath, he wasted no time and maneuvered her into a secluded corner where their conversation would not attract any prying eyes. "What will it take for you to stop all of this?" he pleaded, his words tumbling out with urgency. However, Jennie continued to avert her gaze, seemingly indifferent to his presence.

"If she has wronged you, then I apologize on her behalf. I’m truly sorry," he added, clasping his hands together, hoping for her understanding.
