"I'm sorry but she's dead"

That word kept ringing in Victoria's ear. It became a ringing bell in her head. Her best friend was gone and she left before they could make a proper make up.

It hurt her so much. Tears streamed down her face profusely as she recalled it all. She blamed herself for calling Elizabeth out. She blamed herself that if she had not shoed up in front of Elizabeth, she wouldn't have died.
