Maddie’s eyes opened when she heard the voice of the rogue alpha. She then glanced at Vanessa was still asleep before looking at Nate who was blacked out. His wound was not bleeding anymore but if it was not treated, she knew that it was not going to start healing.

And if it was not healing, things might get worse. He might even get an infection and die. But what could they do? Nothing. They could only accept the hand they had been dealt.

As for Damion, he was still bravely on the phone with the omega’s father. “And even if I do know where they are, what are you going to do? Torture the information out of me?”

“Damion, I’m warning you. If I find out that you have my daughter, I’m going to kill you. That’s not even a threat, it’s a f*cking warning.”

“Mm-hmm, go suck a d*ck,” The rogue alpha replied before ending the call. To avoid having to deal with the man’s calls, he then blocked the number before slipping his phone into his pocket.
