Maddie sobbed and her entire body shook as she did. This was really the first time that she had really allowed herself to grieve the loss of her child. Yeah, she had never really planned to be a mother. It had never been part of her plans. 

But then it became part of it. Then it was almost all she could ever think of. She had already started thinking of names and guessing which gender it could be even though she had not even reached three months yet. 

So to have it stripped away from her really tore her, it really broke her to the core.
