Chapter 119

Author’s POV

Rhea felt her body hum with electricity. She felt nervous, there was not a bone in her body that relaxed. It was as if she could feel eyes on her, something watching her too closely. She took a deep breath and pushed herself into the bed.

It didn’t help, she wasn’t hiding. Outside the room she could feel the guards standing there. Security had tightened once again, more guards had been put outside her room. It felt too restricted, everywhere she went, she could see them.

She didn’t feel them in the garden - that was the only place they didn’t watch. It was the only place she could breathe. She was scared now, not sure what to do. What if somehow they decided to kill her?

Cassian went into the library, he hadn’t been inside for the past three days. He had been too busy thinking about what the council would decide. They had only a day left to meet up again, he wondered what he would do then.

Even till now, he could remember vividly the
