Chapter 126. Are You Mocking Me?

Leo immediately escorted Alana to the hotel room they had previously occupied. "I'll just discuss work matters, and it won't take long," Leo said as he seated Alana on the bed.

"I'll just come along," Alana said, about to get up from her seat, but Leo held her shoulder. "Just a moment. It's better for you to freshen up and rest; I'm sure you're very tired," Leo said again, causing Alana to pout.

"I promise it won't take long," Alana said, making Leo nod. Leo then kissed Alana's forehead for a while before he actually left the hotel room, hoping all the issues her husband had could be resolved properly, and also hoping that the man named Edgar truly helped them sincerely.
