Chapter 18. Leo’s Office

Alana began walking towards the lobby of the office where Leo was. This was her first time going to her husband's office without prior notice. Placing her handbag on the receptionist's desk, Alana caught the receptionist's glance.

"Good afternoon, ma'am. Can I help you with anything?" the receptionist asked.

Alana glanced at Erna's name tag, smiled, and inquired, "Erna, can I meet Mr. Leo?"

Erna looked her way, smiled, and asked, "Do you have an appointment?" Alana shook her head.

"I'm sorry, you can't meet Mr. Leo," Erna said regretfully.

"Could you connect me briefly with Mr. Leo?" Alana requested.

Erna shook her head again, "I'm sorry, I can't connect the call because he can't receive calls from others."

Alana sighed. "I forgot to introduce myself. I am Mr. Leo's wife," Alana said.
