Chapter 23. Caught a Fever

Alana had just come out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe wrapped around her. She was about to step towards the dressroom, but Alana halted when she remembered something.

"I think I forgot something," Alana said, making Leo, who was staring at his phone screen, look towards Alana, still in a bathrobe with wet hair.

"What did you forget?" Leo asked, then returned his gaze to his phone screen. Alana then walked towards the side of the bed, where Leo was, leaning her back against the headboard.

"I lodge a protest. Why didn't you tell me that Selena and her mother are moving today?" Alana asked, making Leo finally put his phone on the nightstand.

"Haven't I told you before that they would move here?"

"But you didn't explain that it would be today."

"So what if it's today? Are you going to welcome them with a small party?" Leo asked, making Alana roll her eyes. Of course not. How could Alana do that when she didn't even agree with the two women stayin
