Elena POV

I can’t breathe. I can’t think. I can’t even blink or move. I just stand, fixed to the ground.

Because the man from the club…..the same one who grabbed me….. is here. In our basement. Bound. Bruised. Terrified. My stepbrothers standing around him like executioners.

My heart slams against my ribcage.

Vincenzo knew. He really saw everything at the club.

He just watched me lie back then, watched me tremble, and never said a word.

And now….. Now I understand why he was so calm.

Because he wasn’t sparing the man. He was saving him… for this.

They stop everything they’re doing immediately they see me and I can see the shock and surprise on their faces.
