Chapter 104. In the Bedroom

It was the night before the trial for Scarlett and Henry. I went down to her cell to find her scraping the walls with her fingernails till they were almost completely gone. Then when she heard footsteps, she turned and saw that it was me and glared.

“I was wondering when you were finally going to show up…” she said in an icy tone, turning on the floor and then getting up, walking towards the bars of her cell. She looked so bony and thin. As if she had not eaten a single morsel of food for weeks.

“I’m sure you came to see how miserable I am doing, well here you are. Is this good enough for you?!” she asked me in a mocking tone spreading out her arms that were as slim as all the rest of her body. “You got what you wanted, b*tch, you finally ruined my life for me. That seems to be a talent of yours ruining everything you touch!”
