Chapter 109. What They Deserve

Niyol’s POV

After everybody on the judging table had sat down in a semicircle arrangement, I began the meeting to decide the fate of Scarlet and Henry.

“Now I’m sure that all of you have listened to the witnesses with utmost attention and you have all seen the evidence that have been brought before all of you, now I want all of your completely honest and unbiased opinions concerning this before I voice out my own…” I said to the people leaning back on my seat and crossing my legs waiting for their answers.

“Your Majesty …” One of the oldest judges on the table stood up and give me a bow. “I think I speak for everyone here on this table when I say that this case is as clear as black and white. The witnesses have spoken and the evidences as well and the story doesn’t seem to be twisted until it gets to the suspects talking, so it is very clear that both of them are guilty, but I hope I am not too pompous to assume that we did not just come here to dance around
