Chapter 66. She Knows Too Much

Scarlett’s POV

After our hot make out session, all I wanted to do was rest in Henry’s arms. I told him about how I acted like Niyol’s maid today and how Chester brought in a new girl.

That piqued Henry’s interest as we talked about that lady called Julianna who doesn’t look like she was going to mind her business.

She came acting all high and mighty and tried to her poke nose into my affairs. Hmph! I would think of what to do with her later. Let me keep watching her.

Just as we were discussing, there was a knock on the door and Henry’s gamma told him he was needed by Niyol and that he also collected some of his handwritten documents.

I realized immediately that something had gone wrong… and that something had to do with the letter that Henry sent to that cursed girl.

After assuring me that everything was going to be fine, Henry left, leaving me in fear and uncertainty.

I couldn’t fathom why I panicked immediately I heard the message.
