I had judged him wrongly; damn, the whole world had judged him wrongly. I wanted to know so many things about him, things that happened in his past. What really happened to his mate Kate? I always believed that he had killed her, but now that I felt the slightest doubt, was that also one of the many things I judged him wrongly on?

I waited for him to speak; he fell silent for what felt like forever before he continued.
