Chapter 62
The room is completely silent; the only noise one would hear was the sound of my not-very-silent intake of breath.
Damien was not beside me, and something inside of me was grateful for that.
I didn't realize I was crying till I felt the moisture against my cheeks. A part of me knew why. No matter how I tried to hide it or pretend that it was only a dream. I felt like I had just cheated on Damien.
For so long, he hadn't been in my dreams, and I thought they had all been long forgotten. Oh, how wrong I was to think that.
I hated the fact that I was wet. Yes, it was only a dream, but it felt more than that; it felt very real, and the fact that I was wet clearly indicated that.
The bathroom door was pulled open, and Damien walked into the room all wet. A small smirk was on his face, but one look at me changed that, and his smirk turned into a slight frown.
"What is wrong?" he asked. I was sure that he wouldn't be able to skip
