Chapter 141. DNA Results (2)

When something is still on your mind, time seems to go very slowly. 

Avita’s anxiousness was driving her insane. And she’d lost track of how many times she’d checked her phone for the time. 

She completed all of her tasks, lost her appetite, and sat still in front of the television as if nothing was going through her mind. She knew she shouldn’t do it and should just be calm, but she couldn’t. 

She had been in this delirious condition for the entire day until she heard the gate bell ring. For the first time that day, she smiled as she opened the gate and waited for the automobile to drive inside. 

Madam G exited the car and took giant strides towards the door, which she slightly knocked on before entering. When she walked in, Avita was sitting cross-legged on the sofa, her gaze piercing. 

Madam G was ready to stoop down and greet her as usual, when a concerned Avita stopped her, saying, “don’t bother. Simply hand me the packet.”
