Chapter 81. You Scared Me

William's POV

I stared at the phone as it kept on ringing and when it finally stopped ringing, I took in a sharp breath.

The phone started ringing again and it is still Amelia. I gripped my head in frustration. Should I just pick it up? Or not?

I watched the phone ring off for the third time again and finally, a message followed.

'Are you asleep? Call me when you wake up'

I read her message and I dropped the phone back on the table as I whimpered. I looked at the documents in front of me and I packed them all into the brown envelope in anger. I threw it into my traveling box and I went to bed.

Should I tell Amelia about it? Or not?

I thought about it for a long while and my eyes felt heavy. I can't tell her about it. That would be my final decision. We are finally happy. We are finally in love. I can't let this ruin it for me, no! I won't even risk it.
