In a few weeks, the crowd of reporters thinned out and stopped coming altogether. 

While at the suite, Malia began making her next moves. She was unsure of what to do next, but the one thing she was sure of was that she needed to leave her father's company and build her own life.

Andrew invited her to come to Italy with him. He had a show he was to attend, and he wanted her to go with him. In his words, it would be a fun holiday for her and she would get to plan things out better.

Malia agreed to the offer, excited to know what the future held for her.

She returned to the penthouse to pack her things up. It was uncertain what would happen to it. But that was the least of her problems. She rented a studio apartment where she would keep her things for the moment till she had it all figured out.

Things were like a fever dream after the trial. She noticed she felt lighter like all her burdens had been lifted. And the best part of it all was Andrew.
