Anna’s POV
The ballroom buzzed with excited chatters as soft music played in the background. My parents mounted the stage to give their speech and vote of thanks. Applause spread across the room. There was scraping of chairs as folks got up for a standing ovation.
After their speech, they proceeded to sit at their stationed table smiling and holding hands. They sat in front of a bouquet of baby pink roses and dad leaned for a kiss.
