The blissful weekend had resumed after a delicious lunch. Iris was simply feeling euphoric at the new-found freedom. The weather was mild, perfect for a barefoot walk on not-so-hot-sand along the beach. They walked slowly as Iris closed her eyes when the cool brine reached her ankles.
