The day got off to an awful start.

By midday, Carlisle was stuck feeding on hospital blood bags to recover Dom’s beating while Dom had locked himself inside his room with his head full of regret, guilt, doubt, suspicion, and still a lot of untamed rage, barely in control. While Iris was simply MIA!

Carlisle and Elijah had a detailed talk about the possible reasons behind the morning mishap and his history with Iris. Everyone intended to give the enraged Alpha as much time as possible to get back to his senses on his own. It was Iris whom everyone was worried about. She had left in the morning with no trace and, as much as everyone wanted to give her space, she also needed to be protected from Y’s surprise attacks that he was so fond of and hadn’t been heard from since the destruction of his island.

Iris could possibly be in great danger and no one would be aware. She hadn’t forgotten to pick up the cloaking ring as she had dashed out of her room in the morning. And
