Sansa's Pov
My heart was heavy, and my eyes burned with unshed tears as I desperately tried to hide my feelings from Amara. My body had suffered as a result of the battle with the wild beasts, and I was struggling to recuperate. Every minute seemed to spin my thoughts slowly, leaving me vulnerable and defenseless against Xavier, who kept feeding me food.
"Why aren't you eating?" inquired Amara, her gaze fixed on Xavier.
"I have a responsibility to fulfill," said Xavier, his eyes riveted on me. "Once she eats, I will eat," he said, seemingly happy.
Amara was watching her favorite couple, whom she adored, but she was clueless about the truth.
"You must also look after yourself. You've been seriously injured, and we need our alpha back as soon as possible," softly Amara informed Xavier.
