Sansa's Pov

Shadows danced on the walls as I sat facing my stern grandfather, anxious to solve the mystery of my parents' remarkable love. The air was tense because I knew how he felt about anything non-human, especially my mother, a werewolf—the very kind he was famed for hunting.

"Lay me next to your mother when I close my eyes for the rest of my life, and I will rest in peace," my father's ultimate wish to be buried near the woman he loved, my mother, resonated in my thoughts.

He recalled their fateful meeting in the bush, where he was hunting to protect the locals from wild animals. He discovered my mother there, injured and in werewolf form. He brought her home and cared for her wounds out of compassion for animals, unknowing of her true nature.
