Chapter 36

The drummer began the lead in, while Steve and Charlie strutted the stage playing guitar, waiting for Gwen to sing. Gwen pranced to the front and began singing ‘I Hate Myself for Loving You.’ Quite a few of those in attendance had seen her perform it the night before and had told others to watch for it.

Charlie and Steve played to the audience and along with Jordan, sang back-up to Gwen. Everyone was on their feet and yelling their approval as the song ended. While taking a few extra bows, Jordan whispered to Gwen that she may well have found her next single.
