Parents with small children held them up to Gwen as she drew close. Gwen would gently accept a child and kiss it on the forehead or cheek and return it to the delighted parents. Everywhere Steve looked, people were flashing huge smiles, and shedding more than a few tears. It was apparent to Steve that Gwen held these people in the palm of her hand. She truly was their Queen!

Steve simply followed his wife in stunned amazement. They had discussed finding new ways to interact with people that would be safe, yet spontaneous.
