Chapter 206

When Ted and Gwen emerged from the hallway, Gwen felt the tension in the room. Looking at Steve’s dark countenance, she had no doubt that Steve was aware of her brush with Governs. Taking that thought a step farther; she knew Steve would hunt Governs down for his actions. Did he already catch Governs and fight with him? Was he going to be in trouble with the law?

Gwen moved across the floor, watching Steve’s face as she walked. Then she realized that Paula was holding Steve’s hand. Without knowing exactly why, Gwen felt relief.
