Chapter 17. Road Trip

Karl’s POV

I woke up earlier than I had expected and went to get my windows open. The birds were chirping and flying high in the sky. It was a bright day, and I hoped the day was going to be a good one. I went into my bathroom to get cleaned up. 

Should I go wake Avery? I forgot to tell her to be up early today cause we had to go somewhere really far. I brushed my teeth and climbed into the shower letting the water best at my skin. I applied some shampoo to my hair and gel on my skin, scrubbing for a few minutes, and when I was satisfied, I rinsed. I grabbed a towel on the rack and dried myself. Getting out of the bathroom, I heard a loud crash and the sound of broken glass getting shattered on the floor. I couldn’t tell where the noise came from, but I did the best I could to get dressed and go check out where the noise was coming from.
