Darcy sighed and looked at her dad helplessly.

Darcy was about to speak but Oliver Fletcher cut her short and spoke. “Darc, just do it no need to argue. I know you are a very hard worker but I don’t want my darling daughter to waste her time doing house chores when  you have  to get prepared for the competition that you have been waiting for or I will pick up my walking stick and go out to help you.”

Darcy looked at her dad helplessly as she ate her breakfast and smiled. “All right Dad as you wish but I have to go for a round around the estate as it’s been weeks since I have checked the grounds. I hope you don’t mind?” She wanted to go out desperately as she needed some fresh air.

Oliver Fletcher chuckled. “Anna, why is my daughter so stubborn?”

Anna who was preparing a cup of tea laughed lightly and said. “Like father, like daughter. She is just like you so don’t blame her.”

“Thank you, Anna. I love you.” Darcy grinned and got up from her sea
