The taxi was driving through the most deserted city streets, Darcy was conscious once more of loneliness, of a desire for companionship, utterly foreign to her. And she forged her thoughts ahead to the coming meeting with Louis to combat it. It had come out of the night like some secret thing that evening before, and now it would not let her go.

She had gotten a call from Mr. Russo when she was done meeting the buyers and her favourite designers and he had told her that he had found Louis's address. 

But the most shocking news he gave her was that it was not Louis who had come there the day before somebody was trying to block their paths in finding Louis as the man whom Mr Russo saw was a look-alike of Louis.
