Chapter 267

Darcy left after her father was done with his breakfast she went straight to Gale”s office as she was late and once inside she apologised.

“I am sorry Mr Harris I am late as we had an issue at home in the night and I woke up very late,” she said reluctantly when he had waved her apology aside. 

“Why are you being formal Darcy?” Gale spoke in an irritated voice.

“I am sorry….” Darcy said but was interrupted in between.

“If you are going to apologise to me again and again, I will kiss you,” Gale spoke with a warning in his voice and Darcy gulped down her saliva nervously.

“There's something I need to tell you. I can't work full time in the factory as I am needed at home.”

Gale who was listening to her muttered nervously. “ I am not leaving you at a fix I will work here till you can replace me with someone else.”

“And if I can't do that” he queried.

“No one is ever indispensable, no matter how high opinion they may have of themselves
