Chapter 69

She could hear Ralph banging the glass door and telling her to open it but Evana ignored him and tried to look for a way to escape. She looked down and saw that she was way up and if she jumped down she would either die or have broken ribs. Then she looked for a pipe to go down but couldn’t find one. Her palms were sweating while she tried to think of ways to get down from the balcony.

Suddenly she heard them banging on the door and was terrified because if she did not take any action they would surely punish her. So thinking about it she looked straight down from the balcony took a deep breath and decided. If jumping meant her death then she would gracefully welcome it as it was better to die than letting those filthy men touch her.

There was a bang behind her as if someone had broken the glass but it did not bother Evana as she stood on the railing and jumped down without fear.
