Chapter 74

“Evana, we will get to the bottom of this. Don’t worry.” Fiona tried to comfort the trembling Evana, who was hugging her tightly and crying miserably.

Fiona’s heart ached as she comforted her but the problems did not seem to end there, as Evana received a call from the principal’s office telling them that he wanted to meet both of her.

At first, Fiona was reluctant knowing there would be chaos in the school and she would be bullied. But knowing that she was not at fault, she couldn’t allow her cousin to hide as she had done nothing wrong and she had the proof.

So she decided to accompany her to the university.

In order not to cause an unnecessary commotion, Fiona had asked their driver to stop in front of the office. However, when they got out of the car, some students and teachers saw them and gossiped about them with disdain in their eyes.

Thankfully Fiona had insisted on coming to the university with her. Otherwise, she didn’t know what to do.
