Your Friend?

Rachit’s POV

As soon as I walked inside the office, my gaze was drawn to Ashish and Riya, who stood in front of me.

When Ashish noticed me, he motioned to Riya, who took the file from Ashish’s grip and said, “I’ll check and sign it.”

When I saw both of them, I smiled and said, “good morning.”

Together, they wished me a good day.

Riya was not talking to anyone else in the office anymore, but whatever she was talking about with Ashish, they stopped chatting as soon as I arrived.

I didn’t appreciate her talking to Ashish like this at all, but I knew my boundaries, so I stared at her carefully, saying nothing.

A tiny smile appeared on my lips when I saw her. While walking with her to her cabin with the file, I inquired if she was available at 11:00 a.m., as I wanted to discuss something about the new project.
